Snowmobilers can ride a 200-mile network of groomed snowmobile trails running throughout Winnebago County and the Oshkosh area. These trails connect with other trail systems running throughout the entire state.
The Wiouwash trail is an access point that leads right into the city, although there are many other convenient places to get on the trails around Oshkosh. See a map of routes.
Paper maps are available at gas stations and restaurants along the trails, as well as at the Oshkosh Parks Department.
Winnebago County has 12 snowmobile clubs, which all are members of the Winnebago County Snowmobile Alliance. Winnebago County’s clubs have instructors who can teach the snowmobile safety course.
