J.J. Keller Field Oshkosh Sports Complex
Some of the best athletes in Wisconsin will assemble in Oshkosh on May 2 for the WIAC Conference Championship in Track & Field at the J.J. Keller Field Oshkosh Sports Complex. It will be an exciting day of competition in a long list of events, including high jump, pole vault, long jump, discus, shot put, hurdles and a long list of relays and races, from sprints to distance races.
WIAC stands for the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The 100-year-old conference is made up of nine different Wisconsin schools, including the University of Wisconsin System schools at Eau Claire, La Crosse, Platteville, River Falls, Stevens Point, Stout, Superior, Whitewater and Oshkosh. The conference competes at the NCAA Division III level and has produced some world-class athletes.
For those familiar with track & field competitions, the WIAC championship meet be a chance to see some of the best athletes in the country. But for those unfamiliar with the sport, it’ll be a chance discover just how incredible track & field can be.
