An upcoming event will give beer lovers a chance to sample top-flight beers in an amazing space. Hops & Props, a fine food and beverage tasting event, is coming to the EAA AirVenture Museum. The event features nearly 300 different, outstanding beverages provided by micro-breweries and distributors from around the world. Attendees can learn about the brewing process and sample the best these great vendors have to offer. Master brewers will be on hand who can explain the finer points of beer styles. Taste ales, lagers and hybrid beers. Enjoy great examples of your favorite beer style – whether you like wheat beers, fruit beers, stouts, English bitters, porters or meads. The admission price includes museum entrance, a commemorative beer glass, a professionally prepared tasting guide, hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, live music and more.
The event will be held in a space that features a special selection of another kind. The EAA AirVenture museum is home to beautiful, rare and important airplanes, such as a 1938 Bugatti Model 100 Racer, a 1918 Curtiss JN4D ‘Jenny’ and a Lockheed P-38L Lightning.
