Slow Roll Oshkosh

Slow Roll Oshkosh ‘rolls’ the third Tuesday of every summer month (May-Oct). Slow Roll is for everyone, any age, skill level, and any (and hopefully every) type of bike is welcomed. We ride at a slow pace (this isn’t a race) to give everyone a chance to take in the lovely surroundings and historical highlights of our wonderful city…and to encourage making friends along the way!

The gathering begins 5:30 p.m. (time to grab a snack and meet friends), ride departs 6:30 promptly. All of our routes will be right around 5 miles…easy stuff…plan on about an hour (you’ll be home before dark).

2019 Schedule:

5/21 @ Menominee Nation Arena/Maple Pub

6/18 @ EAA 50th Anniversary ride on the grounds

7/16 @ Leach Amphitheater (live music from ‘That 90s Band’)

8/20 @ Ground Round at Rivers Edge

9/17 @ The Lanes at The Howard

10/15 @ O’Marro’s Public House

12/3 @ Menominee Park/Celebration of Lights and Xmas party at The Waters

Some finer points (the rules, so to speak):

  • Helmets very much encouraged…safety first!
  • Follow the leader…(pay attention to the vested leader in the front of the pack)
  • Bring a lock (our sponsor vendors all have yummy food…you might want some before or after)
  • Share the road according to biking laws…stay together, again…safety first
  • Roll slow (again…it’s not a race)
  • Don’t show off, don’t litter, be nice…all that good stuff
  • In the case of bad weather, we’ll notify of cancellation via Facebook
