Jingle Book Bash

Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 9th, as the Winneconne High School Student Council & Winneconne Public Library team up to bring you another spectacular year of celebrating the holidays at Jingle Book Bash!

This year’s theme will revolve around the beautiful children’s picture book, “The Polar Express,” by Chris Van Allsburg. The high school students will be performing a Live Action Storybook telling of the book, which will include sets, audio & live actors!

The Friends of the Library will be hosting their Holiday Craft Fair in the high school gymnasium, so Christmas shopping opportunities will abound, holiday music, concessions, along with the activities for kids and adults.

In addition, Santa Claus & his live reindeer will be on-hand to greet everyone at the festivities – bring your cameras, you won’t want to miss this!

*Santa’s live reindeer, from 10 AM-12 PM

*Santa Claus to visit from 11 AM-1 PM

*Live Holiday Music provided by Dave Jerabek & The High School Band

*Friends of the Library Holiday Craft Fair

*Club Winston’s Cuddle Buddy Workshop (comparable to Build-a-Bear)

*Concessions/Hot Cocoa Bar

*Crafts & Cookie Making

*Friends of the Library Silent Auction Baskets & Cash Raffle (Tickets available for purchase at the Winneconne Public Library, $1/each or $5/six tickets.  Cash prize of $300)

In honor of the attire worn by passengers on The Polar Express, we are encouraging all to wear pajamas and robes to Jingle Book Bash!

Admittance to Jingle Book Bash is FREE, but there is a small fee for the Kids’ Activities Punch Card.  The Kids’ Activities Punch Card includes: Kids’crafts, cookie & hot cocoa bar, and that is $5.00.  The Live Story Book telling, with purchase of Kids’ Activities Punch Card, is $6.00

If a Kids’ Activities Punch Card is not purchased, the fee for the Live Story Book telling is $2.00.
