Join the Paine in welcoming Elyse Zorn Karlin, curator of “Maker & Muse: Women and Early Twentieth Century Art Jewelry,” for a special presentation on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at the Paine.
Besides her work curating “Maker & Muse,” Karlin is also a jewelry historian, the author of a number of books on jewelry, a well-known lecturer and co-director of the Association for the Study of Jewelry & Related Arts. In her presentation, she will explore the beauty, history and artistry of art jewelry, and provide a deeper look at the “mini-masterpieces” on view in the Maker & Muse exhibition.
The evening includes an exhibition viewing, cocktail reception and book signing. It is free with paid admission and free for Paine Members. Please RSVP at www.thepaine.org.
